Three bodies

The penis consists of three longitudinal bodies filled spongy, with fabrics, the surrounded smallest blood vessels. Two external bodies, so-called basic bodies, during time erection become firm and elastic. Internal, or spongy, the body surrounds an urethra and passes in a penis head. Both the spongy body, and a head during time erection concede on hardness to strong bodies.

The basic fabrics of which spongy bodies consist, are capable to be filled with blood. The essence also consists in it эрекции: in a spongy body blood collects. At first there is an urethra lengthening. Further a spongy body extends and filled with blood. Last stage erection - hardness. All penis becomes elastic, rises upwards and forward.

Erection has the limited character, after all the penis can increase only in certain limits. The role of terminators is carried out in this case by the strong covers covering each of them separately, and also an additional cover surrounding all penis, the so-called girlfriend of a penis.

As well as in other bodies of a body, penis blood supply is carried out as a result of an action of the heart. On arteries fresh blood arrives in area of genitals. After mastering by the fabrics of oxygen located here and nutrients from arterial blood the fulfilled blood arrives in venous system.

At rest pressure of blood in a penis is insignificant. At sexual excitation blood circulation in a penis amplifies sometimes in 26 times; in this case through it passes about 4 spoons of blood in a minute. During this moment blood is pumped up in a member under much big pressure. Only in a condition erection pressure of blood in a sexual member can be compared to pressure in other bodies.

The fabrics filled with blood start to squeeze taking away veins. The last are narrowed, but not blocked completely, through a penis still passes about 12 ml of blood a minute. To support erection at this level, blood should arrive in a genital with former speed. When the quantity of the blood arriving in a sexual member and following from it is levelled, its size and elasticity do not vary also a condition erection proceeds.

Process erection can be compared:

* with inflating of the bicycle tyre until it does not become elastic;
* with lowering in water of a withering flower to return it a life;
* with the open crane and the closed drain in a bath.
